Communism is a form of government where businesses and other facilities are owned by large amounts of people opposed to being owned by single powerful individuals. Also, the workforce of a communist country has equal rights and benefits which are spread among the business’s people according to the demand.

Although the beliefs revolved around equality, this system allowed government to develop a powerful ruling class. A modern   perspective of communism can be seen in Karl Marx’s and Fredrich Engels’ in the "Communist Manifest" They believed that a strong capitalist government would fall. They believed that if the capitalist government and the rich class continued to feed off of the lower poor class, the poor class would run out of money resulting in the government collapsing and feeding off of itself to maintain. They also believed that the people would rise up against the government to try to set things to the way they should be if the government started testing their power. Many countries that tried to establish governments based off of their beliefs failed to maintain a steady government, but there are many countries who manage to keep a stable government today.
